Stop and Think

via
I feel as if over the past year and a half a fire hose of information has been put in my mouth and turned on full blast.  The water of information has come from school, work, and online searches.  The fire hose seems to have a limitless supply of water and pressure.  I have learned that slowing down the flow and even turning it off at times is where true knowledge and power lies.  Remember to stop and think about life, learning, and where you stand. What makes your life fulfilling is not in how much information you can swallow, but taking that information and using it to the fullest. The small act of stopping and thinking can turn information into knowledge and knowledge into wisdom.

  1. I definitely understand the feeling of the amount of information that is given to us. I think that we can be overwhelmed by the amount of info that we have access to. We really do need to learn how to control the flow of information that we receive so that we can truly gain knowledge.

  2. True. It's just like 8 hours of coding can save you an hour with a piece of paper.
